My Responsibilities include managing the I.T Department, Developing new I.T systems including designing, budgeting, project management and implementation, testing and training. Design and implement ways to streamline I.T systems within the business as well as I.T procedures and system operations with the aim of improving productivity, reliability and end user usability. With a key focus on system integrations and automation Working closely with both internal staff and 3rd party suppliers. Working on a wide range of systems including but not limited to cyber security, Microsoft servers, AD, virtualisation (Hyper-V & RDP / RemoteApp), failover clustering, storage spaces direct, Exchange DAGs, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, MS SQL, bus ticketing, smart cards, EMV and ITSO, AVL and Real time passenger information. MPLS WAN, Cisco / Dell networks, LACP & VLANs, WiFi, Watchguard firewalls, WAF, VPNs, VOIP, Web hosting, PCI DSS. Backup systems and DR plans. Sage ERP, access control, MidlandHR payroll, Omnibus scheduling and allocation and freeway fleet management.
