ABOUT SIMON COOMBS ASSOC

I work in leadership development and learning design, helping organisations build capability and supporting people to progress in their careers. My experience covers talent development, coaching, early-career programmes, recruitment, and succession planning, with a strong focus on creating learning that is practical, relevant, and evidence-based.Much of my work involves designing learning journeys for managers, leaders, and specialist teams, often combining behavioural skills, performance coaching, and organisational development. I enjoy shaping environments where people can apply what they learn straight away and see a clear link between development and performance.Over the years I’ve led and delivered programmes that improve confidence, shift mindsets, and strengthen culture. I’m particularly interested in how good learning design supports long-term growth, whether that’s preparing future leaders, improving team performance, or helping individuals navigate change.My approach is straightforward: understand what the organisation needs, design learning that makes a measurable difference, and create the conditions for people to achieve their best work.
