ABOUT SIMON CLETHRO
I am an experienced Sous Chef with a demonstrated 9+ year history of working in the restaurant industry. Currently, I work as the Sous Chef of Training & Development at Joey Restaurant Group, where I train a passionate, fun and motivated team. I manage the development of individuals working for an amazing company and I am commited to helping people achieve more in their career. I am deeply intertwined in the art of creating genuine connections, teaching culinary skills, as well as coaching and developing individuals to navigate the path towards achieving their own personal career goals. I also work as a freelance Graphic Designer for a marketing start-up company. Graduating in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University School of Art & Design, it is still a passion of mine that I love to stay in touch with. I work to improve the display, appeal and flow of information for our customers by using range of Design Suite Software (i.e. InDesign, CorelDraw, Illustator). I also consult with my directors to build and maintaining partner relations, as well as advise on the creative content and direction of our clients brands. If you catch me outside of work, I am an avid outdoorsman. Originally from England I love exploring and discovering Ontario, hiking, fly-fishing and being on the rivers, lakes and trails of this beautiful country.
