ABOUT SIMON CIAN
As a Sophomore Wells Scholar at the University of Indiana Bloomington, I am pursuing a double major in Political Science and East Asian Languages and Cultures, specializing in Chinese, alongside minors in International Relations and Spanish. I am engaged in the Chinese Flagship Program, my academic focus spans international security and foreign affairs, with a keen interest in China, Taiwan, and broader East Asia. Currently serving on the Executive Board of the Alexander Hamilton Society and as a Co-founder and Vice President of the Politics, Philosophy, and Economics Society at IU, I\'m deeply involved in fostering intellectual discourse and community engagement. Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue graduate studies in International Relations, leveraging my interdisciplinary background to contribute meaningfully to global affairs. Passionate about exploring opportunities in both foreign and domestic policy, my aim is to specialize in international security and East Asian affairs.
