Fixed term contract providing SCCM and VMware Support with the Infrastructure Team. Primarily brought in for Vulnerability and Application security patching each month across the whole of the Server and storage estate. Application packaging for Creation and provisioning of gold images for use over both Server and EUC estates. Occasional support for external organisations such as NHS and Dental companies with PACS / DICOM. Currently testing some PAAS services and ascertaining Cost/Benefit ratio’s • Monthly Security + Vulnerability patching as a primary focus• SCCM Administration and configuration of all Server and EUC Infrastructure• VMware vSphere Administration and Veeam backup/restoration when needed. • Azure administration and storage management on VM’s• Daily BAU tickets and general Support as and when needed

I am an IT professional with 26+ years’ experience working in Information technology. During my IT career I have worked in many industries ranging from NHS and Private Healthcare, Food manufacturing, specialist education and even Museums. I have a broad range of IT support skills and experienced gained over many years and consider myself to be a very good all-rounder, able to take a problem from start to finish in nearly any environment.
