We all work in an ever changing world and technology and innovation seems to make that pace of change ever quickening. All my working career I have been advising clients to help them to create and implement real estate strategies that fulfils their corporate objective and that can help them adapt to the challenges that we seem to be constantly facing in our ever changing world. For an industry to thrive it needs good ideas and good people, and good people need other good people and they need to come together in a workplace that amplifies their skills, innovation and wellbeing.So now I have decided to shift my focus from the corporate offices of large tech and media companies to the world of production space for film and tv. Its an industry with huge skill and talent, particularly in the UK and it has expanded significantly with the advent of the streaming platform and the need for original content. The real estate needs of the industry have also moved at pace resulting in a lag that had created a mismatch in supply and demand, but as the industry lurches forward facing variable headwinds, real estate will still need to keep pace and adapt to the ongoing changes that are required.
