As Principal and Head of Middle & Senior School at AISM, I am responsible for leading the school in delivering a high quality education and achieving its educational purpose, vision and business goals. I am responsible for the academic leadership and operational management of the school and am accountable to the Board of Governors for ensuring financial viability for the school. In terms of pedagogy, I lead a school which is- The first certified Visible Learning School in the World. Visible Learning is an evidence-based approach to teaching and learning developed following the largest meta-analysis of research into learning and teaching ever undertaken- Inspired by pedagogy and practice from Project Zero at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. We believe that \'learning is a consequence of thinking\' and aim to develop a culture of thinking in which thinking is valued, visible and actively promoted as part of the day-to-day interactions of all group members- Leading the \'Care Movement\', a clarion call for care, concern, empathy and action which focuses on developing students\' capacity to care for self, others and the world.
