Partner and location lead for our Manchester and Birmingham offices, Simon is responsible for the delivery of our projects in the Midlands, North West and North East. He is also the Partner in charge of Civil Engineering across the business and regularly coordinate our teams, our work and our clients across the business, and every day is inspired by the talent at CampbellReith.Simon has become extensively involved in the development of Sustainable Drainage (SuDs). He was a Steering Group member of CIRIA project RP784 producing documentation on sustainable drainage guidance for planners and has spoken extensively at a number of regional and national conferences on Sustainable Drainage and Flood Risk. Simon has been responsible for the development of flood risk assessment within the Practice, providing advice to both public and private sector developers.Simon’s specific skills are in the pre-planning masterplan development support, with extensive experience in pre-planning advice, including route selection, public and key stakeholder consultation, environmental impact assessments and planning applications.Overseas, Simon has been responsible for the project management of new 200 key Hotel in Sierra Leone, Hospitals in Ghana and other opportunities in Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria and Cameroon.Specialties: Flood Risk, Flood Management and Sustainable Drainage (SuDs).Highway Design.Environmental Impact Assessment.Project Management
