Barrister specialising in criminal law I both prosecute and defend in serious criminal cases including serious sexual offences, fraud, and homicide. I am a CPS Level 4 prosecutor and included on the Rape and Serious Sexual Offences panel. For several years I have been involved in the training of police officers both locally in the North West of England and nationally; training includes court room skills, interviewing, bad character, hearsay, and the role of the defence in the criminal justice system. I am an occasional advocacy assessor for BPP Law School. Previously, I was a solicitor both in London and Manchester.
