ABOUT SIMON BLACKMAN
Online & Retail Logistics professional who has recently moved into a Commercial role within Logistics for the development and utilisation of Asda\'s warehousing capacities and reverse logistics capabilities across the UK. Responsible for the identification and creation of Logistics solutions with our suppliers and partners by delivering supply chain cost reductions including warehousing services for external customers nationally across the Asda logistics estate. My previous remit included the responsibility for Dot.com distribution fulfillment for Asda Direct and George.com through multiple fulfillment locations. Driving down operating costs through capacity and process inefficiencies along with delivering improvements for the customer in experience, speed and accuracy. Previous to this my back ground was in Process Improvement within Loss Prevention Specialties include operational step change initiatives, process efficiency and operational cost reduction. Distribution network development and unlocking capacity requirements with the focus on performance evolution and customer service advancements through proposition improvements, accuracy and delivery.
