As Chief Consultant at WT, I lead the development and implementation of technical standards for structural assessment in the Primary Structures Division, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation in our engineering practices. With a strong foundation in advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Fitness for Service (FFS), I provide expert oversight and review of all complex structural analyses, guiding WT project teams to deliver robust solutions that accelerate the Green Transition.My role bridges strategic leadership and hands-on technical consultancy. I support clients in resolving critical challenges (fabrication, installation, and in-service), offering deep technical insight and practical solutions that ensure asset integrity.Key areas of technical oversight include- Transportation & Installation: Verification of WTG foundation structures through the temporary phases between fabrication and in-service, including design of guiding systems- Impact Driving of Monopiles: Dynamic simulation of impact driving to verify ultimate and fatigue limit states - Fitness for Service: Fatigue crack growth and fracture assessments to BS 7910, including Level 3 analysis by FE methods.With nearly 20 years of experience, I am an industry expert in structural integrity of offshore structures, combining analytical rigor with a pragmatic approach to engineering challenges.
