ABOUT SIMON BASTIAN
I am a strategic, outcomes-focused HR Director who has spent two decades in roles based in Sydney, New York, and London translating business needs into practical and commercial HR solutions. I am driven by a passion for change, with a focus on making people better at their jobs and improving the transparency, execution focus, and customer-centricity of HR through the adoption of Agile methodologies. I coach C-suite executives and the next generation of leaders in complex global organisations to improve their own effectiveness and the effectiveness of their teams and am myself a leader with a track record of building global multifunctional HR teams. I am naturally curious, data and insights-led, and have a passion for the adoption of learning and development technology. Today I partner with senior leaders to design and deliver a strategic talent and leadership development agenda that enables businesses to achieve their strategic objectives and have extensive experience as a strategic HR Business Partner working with global organisations small (40 people) and large across Sales, Trading, Corporate Finance, Technology, Research, Operations, and Risk management functions. I have specialist expertise in: High Potential Identification and Development | Skill Building | Agile | Executive Coaching | Leadership Development | Employee Learning | Recruitment | Reward and Recognition | Project Management | Diversity and Inclusion | Succession Planning | New Leader Assimilation | Employee Engagement | Employee Relations
