My role on the Board of the Finnish-American Chamber of Commerce in Greater Houston has been a natural extension of my life’s work—building real bridges between Finland and the United States. In Houston, one of America’s most strategically important regions for energy, manufacturing, maritime, and technology, I’ve helped Finnish companies navigate U.S. market dynamics, connect with decision-makers, and position themselves for long-term success. Serving on the board has allowed me to contribute my hands-on experience from more than 100 U.S. market-entry projects, strengthen the local Finnish–American business ecosystem, and ensure that Finnish innovation has a clear pathway into the world’s most competitive market.
