ABOUT SIMIN TAHERI
I have held a lifelong passion for aviation and flying, and as such, I am a First Officer operating for British Airways on long-haul flights to many destinations all over the world, based at London Heathrow. I possess both an EASA and UK CAA license, having recently completed a conversion. I am also a Type Rating Instructor on the Boeing 737, which has allowed me to combine my love for aviation with my passion for teaching. I take great pride in helping others build confidence and bring out their best through effective training and mentorship.I have completed my degree, acquiring knowledge specializing in Threat and Error Management and Human Factors. I have also gained valuable experience working as a tutor and in a customer service role. Throughout my education, work experience, and aviation training, I have developed a number of non-technical skills with strengths in decision-making, leadership, and teamwork.Besides, I’ve always been a technophile obsessed with the latest devices. I spend my spare time in video gaming, streaming, social media, media editing, computer hardware, and building desktop computers. Traveling and exploring different ways of life, languages, and cultures are also among my interests.
