ABOUT SIMEON PARKER
Hey, I\'m Simeon! I am a student in the Elliott School of International Affairs pursuing a BA in International Affairs with a concentration in International Environmental Studies. As a self-described systems thinker, I believe that by harnessing the best of the international community\'s social, technological, and perceptual innovations, we can optimize a system of mutually beneficial exchange to improve the general quality of life for everyone. I am eager to embrace opportunities to apply this idea as I continue on my path building a career in the energy industry. A few of my interests include energy democracy, DERs, grid architecture, regulatory policy, energy storage, and IRA implementation. At this stage in my journey, I aim to develop skills to position myself to operate effectively in the interdisciplinary field of clean energy, and to be at the forefront of the transition to a just, circular economy.
