ABOUT SIMEON OWENS
I am a senior majoring in Interior Architecture as Endicott College. I have completed two internships, both in Pittsburgh, PA, my hometown. In my studies, I have developed a focus on creating immersive experiences with thoughtful and bold use of color, purposeful and interesting lighting techniques, and custom furniture and fixtures. Through my internships so far, I have had a broad range of experiences from organizing materials, meeting sales reps, and space planning to creating construction documents, value engineering projects, and meeting with clients. I worked with licensed interior designers and architects, broadening my understanding of the interior design and architecture field as a whole. I have been very successful at Endicott so far, having made the Dean’s list each semester since enrolling, being a member of the Endicott Scholars, joining Kappa Pi Art Honors Society, presenting for Endicott’s CIDA re-accreditation, and getting hired as both a peer tutor, orientation leader, and tour guide.
