ABOUT SIMA S. BAYAT

As the Partnerships Director for Skate Like a Girl, I oversee organization-wide partnerships and deliverables, manage brand collaborations, and lead org-wide fundraising initiatives. I’m also proud to support our local chapters in Seattle, Portland, and the Bay Area, helping them build and sustain meaningful local partnerships. Through these efforts, I aim to foster connections that align with Skate Like a Girl’s mission to create inclusive skateboarding communities and amplify opportunities for all.I also spearhead the Skateboarding Inclusivity Cooperative program encompasses my commitment to fostering inclusive communities and leveraging over five years of nonprofit leadership. Our team\'s collaboration with renowned partners like Nike and Converse exemplifies our mission to empower underrepresented groups in skateboarding through strategic program development and mentorship.With Girls Who Click, my role as COO involves orchestrating operations and nurturing global partnerships that promote photography as a tool for environmental conservation and empowering youth and young adults. This role allows me to meld my environmental science background with a passion for community engagement, pushing initiatives that inspire and connect with Partner Photographers worldwide.I am passionate about seeing projects come to fruition.
