Lead the business analysis and quality analysis for software development projects within the Electrical Distributions space. These projects have been contributing towards optimizing the electrical distribution operations and reducing the restoration wait time for customers impacted by outages due to storms.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the Requirements Elicitation and Documentation- Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements, define the user scenarios and process flows• Define the data migration requirements and work on the data preparation for migrating the legacy database to the new database being developed (use SQL knowledge to do data extraction, analyze the data and join the tables)• Understand and guard the project scope and lead the planning and estimation sessions• Be the voice of the customer (DTE Energy) in front of the development partners (DTE Energy development vendors), and work with the development vendors to get the components developed, and ensure that the design and development is in accordance with the business and functional requirements• Take ownership of each requirement, and resolve any issues that come up during the development, testing or release cycles• Lead the software validation and testing (act as Quality Lead) – define the entry and exit criteria for each testing cycle (System Testing, UAT, etc), lead the development and execution of test plan, test scripts and test scenarios• Provide a sign-off on each component whether it should be released or not• Document the defects found during testing cycles and track them• Create the traceability matrix in order to confirm all requirements have been addressed and tested, and have a mitigation plan for the requirements that could not be met• Communicate project status and test results to key stakeholders and senior leadership• Create the user training manual for the software products developed• Do the backlog management
