About Simaa Mohammed
Just a little background about me: I am currently a Pre-medical Honor student at the University of Michigan-Dearborn,studying Biological Sciences. Through my undergraduate experience, I hope to attain the necessary skills that would enable me to be best prepared for medical school. Prior to entering college, I graduated as the Valedictorian of Star International Academy\'s Graduating Class of 2016 and was labeled as one of the top 200 graduates from the Metro Detroit Area by Channel 7 ABC WXYZ News. My favorite quote in life is: “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.” I firmly contend that as individuals in society, we belong to all communities and all communities belong to ours; I see culture is a bridge to communication rather than a divider. For this reason, helping others and reaching out to people of a credence of mine.In every situation, I utilize the credentials I have gained thus far in life to contribute not only to the community, but to society and the world as a whole.
