I support Jared Spataro\'s Modern Work and Power Apps team as part of the CELA Marketing team. We enable the best of Microsoft\'s technologies to be leveraged in support of our company\'s mission through clear and powerful marketing and advertising. In previous roles, I Ied the Commercial Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI) in Microsoft’s Marketing and Consumer Business legal team, served as the lead marketing lawyer for Windows, Edge, and Bing across both consumer and commercial customers, and before that, worked in the Office of Internal Compliance, in protecting the company against misconduct. I conducted numerous investigations and helped strengthen an already gold-standard compliance program. In that work, as well as in my current role, I\'m able to draw from prior experience as a litigator, including the many years I served as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney\'s Office in Washington, D.C, where I gained extensive jury trial and appellate experience.Through volunteer opportunities Microsoft generously supports and encourages, I co-founded the Protecting Journalists Pro Bono Program, now known as \"ProJourn.\" Since developing the idea in January 2020 with Davis Wright Tremaine, we\'ve expanded from pilot to a national program, now operating in partnership with the Knight Foundation and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. I also served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Bellevue School District and previously served on the Board of the National Association of Women Lawyers; these opportunities have allowed me to advise on strategic vision, create impactful policies, and advance mission-critical work.
