ABOUT SILVONNA SILVESTRE

Looking back on my journey, I am so excited about where I\'m headed. My love for child and adolescent development has led me to a bachelor\'s degree in Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, and I\'ve found my true calling in Higher Education and Student Affairs.My campus involvement at SNHU has been a game-changer. As a Program Coordinator for the SNHU Honors Program, I learned to manage projects and support incredible students. My experience as a Resident Assistant taught me how to lead with compassion and create a vibrant community for a diverse group of people. Being part of a sorority taught me the power of a strong community and the value of a helping hand. The experience honed my skills in communication and collaboration, which I\'ve since applied to volunteer work and alternative break trips. This has deepened my understanding of diverse communities and strengthened my commitment to making a positive difference through service. As a leader in the Penmen First Scholars Program, I\'ve had the honor of mentoring other first-generation students. It’s been so rewarding to share my experiences and help them navigate their own paths.These opportunities have shown me that my purpose is to be a source of guidance and positive influence for students. I am driven to help others overcome obstacles, just as amazing leaders have helped me along my own journey. I\'m ready and eager to take the next step, leveraging my skills and passion to support and empower the next generation of students.On November 22, 2025, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
