ABOUT SILVIA JACINTO
Silvia is a partner in Deloitte\'s Business Tax group in Toronto. She has over 20 years of experience advising private corporations and high net worth individuals in a wide range of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, trusts/estates and post-mortem tax planning. Silvia has worked with significant clients in all industries, with particular emphasis on real estate and consumer products. She also has extensive experience in structuring and advising limited partnerships. Silvia has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Waterloo. Outside of the office, Silvia lectures for CPA Canada\'s In-Depth Tax education program (Part I) and has written and presented for the Canadian Tax Foundation\'s regional and national tax Conferences. She is also a periodic guest on BNN Bloomberg where she comments on various tax measures and updates on new tax rules.
