ABOUT SILVIA VERONESI NAMIOKA

Graduated in anthropology with thirty years of experience in the communication field and a course of artistic studies at Bologna Academy of Fine Arts. She is co-founder of “Veronesi Namioka”, an Italian-Japanese communication studio that promotes cultural heritage, dialoguing between physical and digital, through heritage projects; experiential installations, events and retail design. Some examples in terms of heritage as the project for bank BCC Felsinea:\"120 anni di BCC Felsinea: relazioni di valore\"(an ethnographic and archive research, a docufilm, an experiential exhibition and event October 2022), the docufilm and social campaign about the Japanese artist Hidetoshi Nagasawa artwork restoration (2021), the digital campaign about F. Pratella, the author of futuristic music manifesto (2019), the 50th anniversary of CEA Estintori through anthropological research that became a monograph (2017), as for Gallery Holding (2022). Same as for Autodromo of Imola with an exhibition dedicated to its heritage at Checco Costa Museum (2015), “Ayrton Senna Tribute” (2014) with an experiential exhibition about the Brazilian racer\'s myth, the restitution of value aspects of Mongolian culture on behalf of different realities (as Ed. Polaris for the Guide about Mongolia in 2008 or Unibo in 2006), the Motorvalley project,(2007), where she narrated the research activity of 13 collectors of vintage cars and motorcycles; a project that turned into a publishing initiative and in a video. She wrote storytelling about the Mughal culture roots for the Indian company Royal Gems and Arts. As a retail designer, she followed 60 stores, as official Timberland local designer. Her design approach is a multisensory synthesis among anthropology and communication, as shown in the recent experiential project designed for Salam Mall of Qatar. She worked with the artist Carlo Rambaldi; for Arno GB Ltd. as project manager for Italy; as concept creative for Apt E.R, Brooks Brothers, Camst, Mirabilandia amusement park, Levi\'s, MEF and Ferrari Museum at Maranello. In 1985 her first experience with Ritz Firma, the Italian importer of brands as Timberland, Polo RL, etc. where she was in charge of creative aspects as cultural events, corner, set-ups and POP design and where she assisted the owner during the realization of “Timberlandia”, the book written by G. Ferrè, about the history of Timberland in 1987.
