ABOUT SILVIA SATTOLO
Since I was a child, I have always standed up for equality, both at school and with strangers, asking my parents to sponsor a child and volunteering with disabled children. Day by day, this attitude evolved in the willingness to fight for human rights and democratic values. In high school, I had the opportunity to travel independently for educational purposes to Ireland, France and Australia. Such experiences outside my comfort zone profoundly shaped my personality and made me a world citizen. Throughout the years, determination did not falter: after a bachelor\'s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy, I embarked on a highly formative master’s program in Human Rights and Democratisation. Thanks to an internship experience at Central European Initiative-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES), I learnt the functioning of an international forum and the ways in which European integration and sustainable development can be achieved through regional cooperation. At the moment, I am pursuing my professional career at CEI-ES covering the Programme Assistant position. Specifically, I am working on the implementation of Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region\'s Joint Working Programmes.
