ABOUT SILVIA SACCO
BAFTA Nominated Series Producer of premium factual, driven by character, storytelling and a strong sense of aesthetics. Whether it’s factual drama, access-driven docuseries or content-rich specialist factual, I pride myself on originating, developing and delivering stand-out films and series across a wide range of subjects. I originated, developed and produced the recent John Dower BBC Two Documentary ‘The Man Who Stole Hollywood’ (W/T), as well as the Sky premium boxset ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ in collaboration with Sam Hobkinson. Previously I developed and series produced the widely acclaimed BBC Two series ‘Italy Unpacked’ (BBC, 5 seasons) and Andrew Graham Dixon’s celebrated ‘The Art of…\'(BBC, 7 seasons). As an archive producer, I have an innate ability to understand a director’s vision and source the footage required to elevate a film. What unites all my work is compelling storytelling, strong journalism and a talent for gaining unprecedented access to complex global institutions, like hard to reach archives, people and places. I want to continue to produce stories with incredible characters that move, inspire and amuse audiences.
