I’m passionate about using technology and data to drive meaningful change in K-12 education. With over 25 years of experience in database architectures, large-scale data aggregation, data transformation, and strategic implementation, I’ve dedicated my career to breaking down barriers that prevent educators from accessing actionable, high-quality information.My new role as Vice President of Implementation and Services at Education Analytics (EA), where I lead the teams responsible for delivering EA’s innovative solutions to partners. My focus is on ensuring seamless implementation strategies that empower educators through data-driven decision-making. Building strong relationships, fostering high-performing teams, and delivering impactful results are at the heart of what I do.Before joining EA, I served as Enterprise Operations Director at Developers.Net, where I spearheaded strategies to enhance client engagement, streamline processes, and scale technology solutions. It was a rewarding experience that allowed me to combine tactical execution with long-term strategy to help clients achieve their goals.From 2018 to 2023, I was Portfolio Director for K-12 Technology at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. I managed a portfolio of projects designed to improve education outcomes for low-income students by enabling data interoperability and advancing the Ed-Fi Alliance’s strategic priorities. One of my proudest accomplishments was being part of the original team that designed and implemented Ed-Fi’s data standards initiative, helping schools, districts, and states integrate siloed data systems into actionable insights for educators.My journey in education technology started at the Texas Education Agency as a technical architect. Before that, I worked in software engineering and technical architecture roles in the private sector, which gave me a strong foundation for designing practical solutions to complex challenges.Originally from Mexico City, I moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science at Midwestern State University in Texas.
