North America Trade Operations Risk & Controls manager. As part of my role and responsibilities:i. identify operational risks related to Trade product business activities; ii. implement and assess controls to mitigate the activities inherent risk by building and appropriately maintaining the risk & control matrix according to the fragmented processing footprint to ensure residual risks are under Citi appetite; monitor key risk indicators such as losses, potential losses, fraud events, customer complaints, accounting exceptions and emerging risks; iv. identify issues in conjunction with Operations managers and implement action plans to mitigate the risk and avoid reoccurrence; v. lead and execute strategic projects; vi. lead and coordinate internal and external reviews; vii. work with global, regional and local partners to align on policy reviews, trainings, regulatory requirements, risk & controls scorecard and initiatives; manage Operations Support area, acting as liaison between operations and technology to ensure accurate database and performance of Trade processing system; ix. oversight of external vendor responsible for receiving original documents and scanning into Trade processing system and sending documents out to respective parties.
