We manufacture metal landscaping items such as planters, fences, trellis, firepits, outdoor tables. My role is to arrange accurate takeoff. I work with architectural designers and engineers to determine the exact materials needed to complete the project. This is usually a big list pertaining to metal types and customers\' needs. For this job, I need a great understanding of plans/blueprints, which I have. I am also able to solve problems, mainly related to the drawings, and to understand what is important for the customers in terms of cost and also problems related to time and design preferences. Many times I am asked to draw using SketchUp or AutoCAD, which is something that I really like.
