As a Spanish Early Career Teacher (ECT) my role involves delivering engaging and dynamic Spanish lessons to students from Year 7 to Year 9. I focus on building students\' language skills, promoting cultural awareness, and fostering a love for the Spanish language. Beyond teaching, I collaborate with colleagues to develop effective curriculum plans, assess student progress, and provide support for individual learning needs. I also contribute to departmental meetings, participate in professional development sessions, and engage in regular parent-teacher communication to keep families informed about student progress. Additionally, I set and mark homework, and provide timely feedback to ensure that students are motivated and progressing. Being in a diverse and multicultural setting, I aim to create an inclusive environment where every student feels confident in expressing themselves in Spanish
