ABOUT SILPA A R

Silpa is naturally drawn to the early stages of ideas, when things are still uncertain and possibilities are wide open. She enjoys being around conversations where people explore new directions and slowly turn rough thoughts into something real.Her first real exposure to that environment came during her internship at Kerala Startup Mission. What began as an HR internship quickly became a learning experience about how organizations actually grow. She observed how teams form, how culture develops, and how the right people and decisions can shape the direction of a project.She experienced a similar energy while volunteering as part of the Super 30 team at the Kerala Innovation Festival. Working behind the scenes to coordinate activities and support the event, she saw how people from different backgrounds come together to share ideas, collaborate, and create new possibilities.As IEDC Lead, Silpa works closely with student innovators and early stage entrepreneurs. She supports them as they explore their ideas, refine their thinking, and take the first steps toward building something meaningful.Her background in English Literature helped her develop a strong understanding of people, perspectives, and storytelling. Alongside that, her MBA is helping her understand the practical side of business through tools like Excel and Power BI, along with project coordination and organizational behavior.She is especially interested in learning how businesses actually work. Understanding how teams function, how decisions are made, and how people, strategy, and operations connect to create lasting impact continues to shape the direction she wants to grow in.Outside of work, curiosity drives much of what she does. She reads to explore perspectives different from her own, listens to music that reflects different moods and cultures, and enjoys traveling for the experience of discovering unfamiliar places and ideas
