ABOUT SILKE BREIMAIER
Each week, I try to visit a place I\'ve never been before in my life, no matter how ordinary. I thrive in getting to know new things, meet new people and gain new perspectives. I am interested in society and creating a sustainable future for all of us and it\'s a privilege that my work can contribute to this.I have +10 years of knowledge in philanthropy and think tanks. As a Senior Manager for the Robert Bosch Foundation I\'ve gained vast experience in foundation development, strategy processes and change management. Previously, I have been based in London and Stockholm for the political think tank Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, dealing with German-British and German-Nordic relations and policy questions.My current focus is on futures and foresight as a way to inform the strategies of the foundation. I look at trends and debates within philanthropy, particularly when it comes to its practices and the role the Robert Bosch Foundation plays in there. I am always interested to have a chat on modern grantmaking practices, futures and foresight in a philanthropic context and anything else regarding a philanthropy that lives up to its meaning.
