About Silas Callahan
Diversified and pragmatic Engineer with a broad experience and background in Civil Engineering and Surveying. For 20 years, I have been involved in these fields, starting as a entry level Survey Technician at the age of 18.Now an experienced Engineer with a Masters in Engineering and over 10 years as a PE, I have completed a multitude of projects in mining infrastructure, land development and municipal utilities. I have modeled complex hydraulic systems for mining, graded massive industrial projects, ran a multitude of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling simulations, created site developments for communities and industrial complexes and discovered feasible transportation alignments in challenging hillside terrain.When out of the office, I am a dedicated father to 4 children. I do everything I can think of with my kids. We ski, climb, bike, wrestle and in general, just play hard. In the early morning, before the kids are up, I attend yoga and HIIT classes, keeping me feeling young and active.
