About Sikha Jaiswal
I am hardworking and passionate undergraduate student specialized in political science honours. My background in political science as well as my experience and internship have given me a set of valuable skills in the areas of program management, event organization, leadership, research public analysis and digital media marketing. I have worked in National service scheme for 3 years where I joined as volunteer and was given the duty of teaching primary school kids and bringing holistic development. I was then promoted to joint secretary in the next stage where I effectively managed to organize events and plan and develop projects in different areas. During my stint as president of National service scheme, with my past experience my approach ahead was to bring in systematic change in Working of society to reduce inefficiency and provide equal opportunity to all. In Nss we used top down approach with bottom down approach for solution. We were assigned our task by Nss director and Ministry of sports and youth affairs and we effectively exceuted them with the limited resource we had. We analysed the condition and problem that were existing in the community/ place we had to work in and came up with solutions that could help solve the problem and deal with the situation. I have organized events like Samvaad where in honerable ex President of the country Mr Hamid Ansari graced the ocassion along with various minister and abled people who are constantly working to bring a positive and impactful change in society. I have been the event head of my college fest and with my effective communication skills I have been able to manage the sponsorship team and leading them to bring in sponsors. My experiences have shaped me to be confident in curating events, managing people dealing with tough situation and tight deadline. I wish to work with best of my capabilities to bring an impactful change.
