I\'ve always had a hope that one day, I\'ll be able to buy whatever game I want and, with no sighted assistance whatsoever, be able to play it like everyone else. Part of that comes from having accessible games to play in the first place.As part of my role at Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), I consult with video game developers, studios, publishers and anyone else involved with gaming and immersive technologies to help make sure products are accessible to players across the spectrum of sight loss, with my specific specialisation being for gamers with absolutely no sight like myself.I have decades of lived experience and 8 years in consultancy including writing accessibility reviews, streaming on Twitch and creating videos for YouTube, as well as delivering presentations around the world and working on titles large and small at various stages (both remotely and in-person). I\'m helping RNIB forge their path in the gaming industry and am always happy to discuss how we can work together to help make the gaming landscape a more accessible place, including for those with no sight whatsoever.
