ABOUT SIGGI HIRSCH

For many years I have been working closely with producers in China, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Over time this has grown into a network that goes far beyond typical supplier contacts. I know many of these companies personally, understand their markets and how they operate, and I know what it takes to develop reliable projects together. This is the foundation of my daily work.My background combines hands on sales experience, business development and strategic sourcing. This mix allows me to identify opportunities early, understand risks realistically and build supply concepts that work for European customers in practice, not only on paper.As Group Director Purchasing Asia I am responsible for all sourcing activities in the region and support 26 European entities in supplier selection, negotiations and long term supply chain decisions. My focus includes raw materials for CASE, food, pharma and adjacent industries.With the Asia Chemical Network I created a platform built on real contacts. Not a theoretical listing, but a group of producers and decision makers who have worked together for many years and share practical insights. The goal is transparent market access and information you cannot get from databases.I also support Asian producers who want to expand their presence in Europe. This includes building distribution structures, understanding the European market logic and developing partnerships that create long term value on both sides.
