ABOUT SIGFRIDO HOLGUIN

Passionate Fashion Designer with over two decades of experience in creating cutting-edge textiles, accessories, and apparel collections. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of market trends, I specialize in translating ideas into commercially successful designs that resonate with contemporary audiences. As Senior CAD Manager at EXPRESS in New York, I lead a talented team of CAD textile designers in developing innovative prints and textiles for Express men’s and women’s collections. My responsibilities include trend research, color and print design and vendor management, team management, and ensuring legal compliance in textile design. My experience also includes tenure at renowned brands such as UpWest, GAP and Lane Bryant, where I worked on the creative development of multiple collections for both domestic and international markets. As a Creative Director at Hoxton, I spearheaded the design of a new leather goods collection, working closely with industry experts to maintain aesthetic integrity and quality control. In addition to my professional endeavors, I have a strong commitment to education, having served as faculty at Parsons School of Design, where I taught fashion design and technologies, including textile design and development. My educational background includes a BFA in Fashion from Parsons School of Design, an AAS in Fashion Design from Altos de Chavon School of Design, and a BA in Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo. I am also a recent graduate of the International Center of Photography, further expanding my creative horizons.
