ABOUT SIFAN WORKNEH

Currently a student at the University of North Florida, pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services, with a minor in Marketing. I have a strong interest in software engineering and development, and I have gained valuable skills and experience in this field through my internship at VyStar Credit Union, where I utilized Solar Winds and SecureCRT to optimize the bandwidth of the ATMs, and created Python scripts with the netmiko import to help the network team filter through routers. I am passionate about using technology to solve problems and create positive social impact, and I have demonstrated this through my role as the Chief Marketing Officer at StickUp, a non-profit that spreads messages supporting social reform movements through the sale and spread of stickers. I am also an active member of the Black Student Union, National Society of Black Engineers, and Student Alliance for Diversity and Inclusion at UNF, where I contribute to the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus and beyond.Im also a Residential Assistant at the University of North Florida, I work part-time to promote a supportive and friendly environment for residents in an assigned residential community. I build relationships with residents through formal and informal interactions, and facilitate their involvement and inclusion in campus life. I also collaborate with the Department of Housing & Residence Life to ensure the safety, wellness, and satisfaction of the residents.
