ABOUT SIERRA PETERSON
A storyteller at the core, my process is to weave the client’s vision and values with occupant needs and well-being to develop a concept that enriches the experience of users and clearly tells the story specific to each company, brand, and team. Having a passion for environmental health and occupant well-being, I seek to harmonize purposeful and engaging design solutions in the built environment with appropriate strategies to protect the natural environment and the health of individuals.I enjoy engaging with clients and users early in the design process to build trust and understanding as we work collaboratively to develop the project story through innovative charrettes and visioning exercises. The outcome of these sessions leads to concept development where unique design and FF & E solutions take shape. Carrying the concept throughout the project, I ensure every detail is carried through to project realization. I have experience working on a variety of project types including corporate interiors, healthcare, and government, all ranging in scale and scope, and across all project phases. Having a broad range of project experience, I am able to quickly adapt, creatively solve problems, excited to try new things, and always ready for the next challenge.Believing in the power of supportive leaders, I am dedicated to cultivating an environment where early failure is encouraged, as it leads to a place where ideas thrive. Through collaboration, charrettes, and careful listening and feedback, all ideas are supported and validated, creating an environment where joy is found in the process, rather than the pressure to achieve an outcome. Bolstering team member satisfaction and commitment to each other, I endeavor to build teams that thrive on open communication and sincere support of the project, team, and each individual-When I’m not focused on designing energizing spaces, you can find me recharging in a SoulCycle class, or spending time outside with my husband and our pup, Cooper.
