Working with Cirkul within the departments of accounting, data analytics, and finance. My role for the first portion of my internship has been to create and maintain the fixed assets sub-ledger for various lines of business across the company whilst collaborating with finance, accounting, maintenance, and data science personnel. I gather and analyze data, perform computations, and prepare cost segregations for fixed asset capitalization and asset creation. So far this has been amazing. Additionally, I have the opportunity weekly to shadow in the departments of marketing, data science, and IT where I am able to have hands-on experience with professionals in each field in order to show me the inner workings of each position. Although my degree is in \"digital marketing analytics\", through this opportunity I have already found that I have much more of a passion for numbers and logistics. I am hoping that I will have the opportunity while shadowing IT to learn more about the applications business tendencies, marketing, etc. to what I have already learned. Through this, I have already gained more experience with Excel as well as ERP systems. Overall this internship already has and will continue to show me where I feel like my passion lies within the business!
