About Sidona Johnston

I currently serve as the Director of Scouting for Tennessee Tech University Football, a role I began in June 2025. In this position, I work closely with the General Manager/Director of Player Personnel and other staff to develop and implement strategies that strengthen the Tennessee Tech football program. I lead our High School and JUCO relations and partner with the Director of Recruiting to help build a welcoming and engaging environment for future student-athletes. Prior to this role, I spent 2.5 years with Kansas State University Football as a Student Recruiting and Scouting Assistant. There, I collaborated with the Director of Scouting and the Wide Receivers Coach to evaluate prospective student-athletes, coordinated recruiting events, and helped ensure a positive and memorable experience for recruits and their families. I also contributed to the development of innovative recruiting strategies through collaboration with other staff. In May 2025, I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Management and a certificate in International Business. During my time there, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy, Spain, Germany, and the UK, gaining valuable insights into global business practices and diverse cultural perspectives.
