Sidney Henderson is a visionary credit union executive who specializes in strategic marketing management. Henderson’s work in the credit union industry spans more than 15 years across four institutions, which range in asset size from $113M to $1.5B. A seasoned marketing leader, she is passionate about advancing business through data analytics, technology, and creative strategy. Currently, Henderson orchestrates the marketing and public relations strategy for the members of Greater Texas Credit Union and its subsidiary, Aggieland Credit Union. As the Senior Vice President of Marketing, she oversees the branding initiatives for both entities and is responsible for driving growth of the credit union’s products and services, including building and strengthening the credit union’s strategic relationships with Texas A&M University and Texas State University.Henderson began her career at Texas Partners Federal Credit Union in Killeen Texas, and has held senior level marketing positions at Texas Trust Credit Union in Arlington, Texas and Chocolate Bayou Credit Union in Alvin, Texas. During her career, Henderson has leveraged business intelligence and external psychographic data to develop strategic marketing initiatives that increased cross-selling opportunities to members, as well as effectively targeted prospective audiences with tailored offers. She also led communications efforts for a pandemic response team that contributed to record loan growth, return on assets, and income, in addition to overseeing external communication and member retention plans for corporate mergers. Henderson’s work has garnered abundant industry recognition from numerous regional and national awards programs.Outside of work, Henderson serves as Board Secretary for the Round Rock Area Arts Council (Round Rock Arts). Previously, she served as Board Secretary for the Killeen Civic Art Guild. Henderson is impassioned to promote the arts in her community, and strives to ensure creativity is accessible to anyone regardless of social or economic standing.
