About Sidi Gomes

Sidi is a Harvard trained Architecture designer, currently working as the Lead designer of all the expansion efforts of the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC). Sidi has completed several projects for the CIC, while several others are in planning and design phases. Sidi\'s specialty, and result of his master\'s thesis project at Harvard - is Social Space Design: how to create spaces that help people interact, collaborate and build a sense of community. A Designer and Entrepreneur, Sidi does work in a number of Fields: Architecture, Animation, Graphic Design, Photography, and Furniture Design. Sidi is also developing a startup called ParallelCities.com: a community building platform that is meant for communities that are looking for ways to reinforce the bonds of trust and communication between their members, as well as bridge the information gap that prevents meaningful connections between community members from taking place.
