Laid out a Data Governance roadmap & defined data governance metrics as a new team. Metrics helps in reporting & evaluating our team\'s impact on the organisation goals. Established Clickstream data standards for Mailchimp to be used by product & marketing teams. Defined SLAs for each type of tracking request. Enabled Segment & Amplitude tool for data governance. Migrated the organization from exisiting data catalog to another as per the business needs which saved USD 400K per year. Acted as a bridge between various teams (product, marketing) & legal to ensure all the downstream data usage is as per the ‘privacy first’ principle & all the engineering solution implementations are compliant with regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA).
