Backwaters’ – the Annual Business Summit of IIM Kozhikode is a 3 day event where the Industry and the Academia meet to exchange ideas and tackle the problems that have been crafted to create new frontiers in the realm of management. IIM Kozhikode has always been the trailblazer when it comes to inclusion of diversity. This year, we are looking to take the dialogue forward from inclusion to empowering and delivering value through diversity. The theme, hence has been chosen as Disruptive Diversity. During the previous editions of Backwaters, we have partnered with organizations such as NTPC, Chennai Super Kings, HealthCare Foundation, Career Launcher, ICICI Direct, NABARD and many other reputed entities. Several reputed personalities like the late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Shashi Tharoor have graced us with their presence. As a part of this 3 day extravaganza, we organize Case competetions, Workshops, Speaker series, MUN, CSR activities like Siksha and beach clean up drives. So far this year, we have leaders from ATKearney, the CMO of Titan, MD of BBH India and the CEO of Jubiliant foods in our speaker series. We are proud to continue our association with CSK, Wipro, Cochin Shipyard and we welcome Bisleri on board.
