ABOUT SIDHARTH CHAKRABARTI

Dr. Siddharth S Chakrabarti is a distinguished academic leader and holds the position of Dean at MITWPU, Pune. Dr. Siddharth earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, with the support of an MHRD scholarship and research project at BHEL, R&D, Hyderabad. He has also worked as Dean at OP Jindal University (OPJU), a conglomerate of “Jindal group” of organizations, Director for the Centre for Industry-Academia Collaboration, and Vice President-Institutional Innovation Council at OPJU. He is actively involved in boosting startup activities and the innovation ecosystem in the organization. Successfully materialized collaborations for the promotion of research, internships, and industry-oriented collaborative programs with reputed organizations. With over 24 years of experience, Dr. Siddharth has excelled in teaching, research, collaboration, and academic management. He has actively contributed to OPJU\'s growth as a member of the Board of Management for six years. His international exposure includes visits to countries like the United States of America, China, Finland, France, Thailand. Dr. Siddharth is an author, with approximately more than 60 publications in prestigious international journals and conferences. His exceptional contributions have earned him accolades, including the \"Best Researcher Award\" at the 10th International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science, and Medicine in Hyderabad. Received \"Excellent Teacher Award\" by the prestigious national organization \"The Institution of Engineers (India), Chhattisgarh State Centre, Raipur. He was also recognized as the Best Head of Department (HoD) of the Year 2021 by ISIE India, New Delhi. Dr. Siddharth\'s commitment to enhancing higher education is further demonstrated through his involvement in NAAC assessments, IQAC, TEQIP committee work, and his mentorship of over 40+ B.Tech projects, 15+ M.Tech students, and 7 Ph.D. candidates. Additionally, he boasts an impressive portfolio of four granted and six published patents, 7+ industrial projects, and a track record of organizing 20+ conferences, FDP, and conclaves. His dedication to knowledge dissemination is evident in the 15+ invited talks he has delivered at various forums, including ATAL Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other esteemed organizations. Dr. Siddharth\'s co-authorship of an edited book,\"Sustainable Approaches and Strategies for E-Waste Management and Utilization,\" published by IGI Global.
