Hi, I\'m the author of the novel Sideways, the book that became the iconic wine movie of the same title. A few years back I traveled the length and breadth of the country of Chile to research my novel Sideways 3: Chile. I was staggered by how delicious the wines were, amazed at the topographical diversity of the various regions, and in awe at how dedicated and passionate its winemakers are to honoring the terroir but also willing to take risks – something I know a little about being a writer. I have watched from afar Chile\'s wine industry grow and become world famous. Some of the most sublime, and interesting, wines in the world are now coming out of Chile. With my partner Mario Velasco I finally decided to put my name on four wines I could believe in, wines that are palate-pleasing, affordable, but with surprising complexity.
