ABOUT SIDDHARTH VERMA

Siddharth Verma, a first-generation trained lawyer from India, is presently based out of Toronto, Canada and undergoing a full-time Master of Laws programme at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He is in-line to complete his National Committee on Accreditation requirements by the end of 2023. As his background goes, he completed his high school education from Modern School, New Delhi and earned his Dual Degree in Bachelors of Business and Law in the year 2019. During his undergraduate degree, he successfully completed several internships in different areas of law with judges, lawyers and law firms. Just after completing his lawyer licensing process with the Bar Council of Delhi, India, he started his stint as a Judicial Law Clerk and was attached with Honourable Judge(s) in the High Court of Delhi, India (i.e, equivalent to Court of Appeals). He is a registered member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association and an experienced professional in drafting case briefs/legal documents. In the course of his tenure as a Law Clerk, he assisted on a wide variety of matters including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Education and Finance Laws, and succinctly on Arbitration matters. Apart from his professional responsibilities, he actively engaged himself with legal aid organisations. In the month of October 2022, the High Court of Delhi appointed him as a Local Commissioner in an IPR dispute. Additionally, he has published articles on various online legal platforms, focusing on Juvenile laws and Arbitration. In the time of his career, he has attended plethora of legal workshops/events and also judged Moot Court competitions.
