Bridging Gut Microbiome Research with Biomedical InnovationAs a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University, my research focuses on understanding how gut microbiota-derived metabolites influence inflammation, immune modulation, and intestinal barrier integrity. Specifically, I study the AHR and GPCR35 signaling pathways and their role in modulating inflammatory responses.Key Research Areas:1. Gut microbiome-derived indole metabolites & their impact on intestinal health2. Cell surface receptor-mediated activation of AHR & GPCR353. Anti-inflammatory mechanisms of novel Indole and its derivatives.4. RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) and differential gene expression analysis5. Functional assays in macrophages and epithelial cells.I have expertise in molecular and cellular biology, immunology, RNA sequencing, flow cytometry, protein analysis (Western blot, ELISA), and biochemical characterization of bioactive compounds. My work has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and interdisciplinary collaborations.Beyond academia, I am passionate about translating fundamental research into therapeutic interventions for inflammatory diseases. I am actively seeking biomedical research, drug discovery, and immunology opportunities, leveraging my expertise in gut microbiota, GPCR signaling, and inflammation research.
