About Siddhi Chatterjee
I\'m a person who is extensively into Hindi Cinema, Arts, Books,Culture and Literature and that is why I chose Journalism. I\'ve worked as a Content Executive-Blogger for WeddingZ.in and have published entertaining articles on weddings. I\'ve Post Graduated in Journalism and Mass Communication from St Xavier\'s College, Mumbai in April 2018. During this tenure I got the experience of carrying out feature, documentary and news stories related to music, culture,celebrity and the work done by the people for the society. I\'ve also written a social story in the college magazine called Pensieve. I\'ve worked as a Journalist for Gossamer Media where I got the chance to explore and carry out stories from the political beat. During the tenure of my internships in college with Mumbai Media Champs I got full hands on experience on writing, editing,news reporting. I\'ve also worked as a Fellow Assistant- Volunteer with Teach For India, for the upliftment of the society. My objective is to gain experience in the branches of media such as print, digital and broadcast wherein creative ideas, themes flow and help in the process of communicating information. It would give me a great enthusiasm to progress with the media being the fourth pillar of democracy. I\'m adept in Word, Quark Express, Adobe Indesign, AdobePhotoshop, Corel Draw, Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. Apart from Journalism I\'ve won several awards in poetry and elocution competitions in my under graduations years. I also have my personal blog where I write about entertainment, spirituality, life, Psychology, travel, culture and lifestyle.I\'m also a trained Odissi classical dancer, a classical singer and a cadet of NCC which taught me values of discipline and the willingness to express. I am a confident, risk taking, going beyond the comfort level kind of a person who loves to narrate, weave and write stories.
