Analyzes current procurement activities and recommends improvement through moreefficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization, value analysis andcooperative purchasing.• Plan the procurement activities based on the production planning.• Purchasing Raw material, Packing material, Trading Goods, Powder products, stationary, Giftitems & Capital assets item etc.• Arranging RFQ from vendor and making compression sheet for price negotiation & Approvalfrom HOD.• Co-ordinate with Production department for movement of materials for outsourcedactivities in the production process• Interact with suppliers and transporters continuously to ensure smooth movement ofmaterial• Co-ordinate with Stores and QA department and ensure the rejection information andreports are sent to the supplier on time• Follow-up with the supplier for replacement of the rejected material• Develop new sources of supply to bring down the cost of the existing components• Identify and implement cost effective and energy saving measures/techniques• Vendor Payment follow-up with accounts department.• Visit the factory for all operational work activities• Arranging transportation for RM, PM & FG inward & outward FG material dispatch• Co-ordinate with sales team for sales plan• Looking for OEM Customer Sales, Payment & Material dispatch follow-up with OEM Customers.
